The grapes are mostly improvements on crimson glory vine, including Himalaya, Mountain Sauvignon bred to cope with Naganuma’s harsh winters, Mountain Fredonia and so on. They also make wine with distinct flavours that can’t be found in other wineries. The direct sale shop is in the grape vineyard, and you can choose from a variety of over twenty including red, white, rose, sparkling, and cider. Apart from that, the winery plot has an observatory where you can experience the view of the nature-rich Maoi hills, which visitors to the store can be guided through. Get a sense of growth from watching the vineyards from the observatory, and enjoy the magnificent panorama view of the Ishikari plains.
