The restaurant"NOMU Kitchen"is operated by the north Hiroshima Nomura Garden, which grows all kinds of crops. The location is surrounded by nature. Here you can enjoy handmade meals from local ingredients, and organic vegetables grown by the Nomura Garden. The popular menu is a lunch plate with a main dish you can choose and lots of side dishes, such as a piping hot hamburger patty on a skillet. A few days per month are designated as soba days, with handmade soba provided. Some people come for the soft-serve, not meals. People can be seen around the building enjoying the soft-serve, seated on the many benches made by local university students. Sweets and foods are also sold for takeout, with a Nomura Garden produce stand nextdoor as well.
