The store that started Sapporo’s shime-parfait (closing parfait) fashion. The parfaits and sandwiches look almost like artworks!
This store started the shime-parfait, or closing parfait fashion - finishing up after a few drinks with a nice parfait. Inside, you can be soothed by the warm light of the Edison lamps, taking in the both retro and modern atmosphere, while eating the artwork-like parfaits that put seasonal fresh fruit to use in huge amounts for their distinct designs, or the limited sandwiches popular for their cute cross-sections. The parfaits are sticklers for quality, making sure of high-grade sweet fruit, soft-serve made from rich Hokkaido milk, and original fluffy, simple cream made to bring out the taste of the fruit. The unusual taste of alcohol and herbs blended together is another secret to its popularity. You can enjoy this to the last bite.

There’s also a big dessert menu, and several coffees, including the deep-roasted Fukuza Blend Coffee, which has a rich, sweet taste like chocolate. All of this is eaten with dishes from the Pottery Workshop Yuragi, where all of this was made by hand. The food and coffee are both made with great care. It can take a while, so you can spend that time browsing the goods sold around the store. Enjoy a charming lunchtime with Hokkaido-themed food and sweets
For lunch, try Tsubaki Salon’s Sapporo main branch, in the residential area adjoining the city centre. Taking in the view of the trees in the park from the big window, wrapped up in the comforting interior of the restaurant, savouring nel drip coffee with meals and sweets that make the most of Hokkaido’s foods... you could spend a wonderful time here. An incredibly comfortable space. More than a cafe, it feels like a salon, and the fireplace burning in the colder times of the year only adds to the atmosphere. For lunch, we recommend the various pizzas and pastas, as well as the unique curry served in a frying pan. The hotcakes, made in a particularly Hokkaido-like way, are also good. At night the lights dim, offering a different atmosphere from during the day.

Enjoy fresh fish and fireside dishes with specially selected wine in a stylish restaurant where you can feel the warmth of wood.
This bar, which was opened as a “neo general public Izakaya” in Febyuary 2020, is a collaboration bar between “GAKU inc.”, which handles popular stores such as risotto specialty stores and night parfait specialty stores in Hokkaido, and the fishery intermediate wholesaler, “Ichiuroko Cooperative Fisheries”. Enjoy fresh seasonal fish and shellfish, which are judged by “fish selection craftsmen” who identify good quality fish in the fish market, with sashimi, fritto, meuniere, pasta and such. “Fish selection craftsman, Honma-mon Sashimi” is also fun to pair with the recommended high-quality sake selected by sake advisors. The dish particularly recommended is “Charcoal-Grilled Aqua Gozza” made by a chef who has trained in the Apulia region of southern Italy as a fusion of the Naples fishermen's dish, “Aqua Pazza” and “Robata (a fireside used for Japanese‐style barbecue, Robatayaki.)”. Every time you go, you will discover something new with the “Today's Fresh Fish” lineup, which varies from day to day, and the “Chef's Recommendation Course” chosen by an Italian chef.

Forget about time passing in a relaxing space, and have a delicious time.
A warehouse building, which has a good feel to it and was built on the site of the former Uminekoya. The building features its brick construction, and has been certified as a “historical building designated by Otaru City”. The design of the interior on the 1st floor is based on the deep sea, and there are plenty of store commitments such as Sapporo soft stone antiques and custom-made tiles. The light and shadow of the lighting make an atmosphere mysterious. The ingredients used for cooking in such an atmosphere are carefully selected local ingredients of Otaru and Hokkaido. “Hokkaido beef and various meats” baked by using Hokkaido's local birch firewood have a crispy surface and a juicy taste filled with the good flavor inside. One of the popular menus is pasta, which is made elaborately to make the most of the uniqueness of the ingredients. The commitment to food is the same at lunchtime with a lunch set that includes drinks and such. The kid's lunch is also appealing to families with children.

15 minutes by car from the airport.Delicious! Fun! You can enjoy your time with peace of mind in the comfortable space suitable for families
The first thing that surprises you is the richness of the food court. Gourmet foods that represent Hokkaido such as “Soup curry” and “Pork rice bowl” are certainly lined up. Even locals are enthusiastically into popular shops and restaurants such as "Milky Bell" that uses raw milk from “Hosozawa Farm” in the suburb of Chitose, and “Firewood kiln pizza studio Pizza Do” that uses local ingredients of Chitose thoroughly such as wheat, cheese, vegetables and meat for all of its menu. The ramen restaurant “Ezomen shinogonoiwazu”which was opened in 2019 is particularly recommended. The commitment and quality of its menu is beyond what we would expect from a roadside station food court. You can select from 3 types of soup, chicken, shrimps and oysters, and the side menu is also abundant. Going there just for this ramen is well worthy. Besides gourmet foods, there are also an interactive mapping where the image changes in response to motions, and a playground produced by the popular playground equipment brand, Bornelund. There are plenty of playground equipment outside to fully enjoy playing, so you won't get bored even if you stay for a long time. The souvenir section is also substantial. From summer to autumn, colorful, fresh vegetables are gathered at the farmers market from local farmers. “Salmon Hometown Chitose Aquarium”, which is located near Salmon Park Chitose is also recommended to visit. An artificial hatching and release project for salmon is being carried out in Chitose River which runs through the site. Salmon that have swum upstream are landed on "Indian Water Wheel” every autumn. It can reach 30,000 salmon a day when it's a lot.
